Hi

Can Media Center play mms streams? I have a bunch that I listen to in Windows Media Player because they don't work in Media Center 12 (latest version).

I'm trying to play this stream:
mms://media3.abc.net.au/triplej

and I get:
Media Center encountered errors while trying to play the last several files. Please make sure that the path in your media library points to the right location.

Error details:
Windows Media Error:
Unknown error (0x00d2ef6)

I'm running a portable install. When I listen to the stream in Windows Media Player, WMP asks me for my proxy username and password which I have to enter first. So maybe my proxy settings are the problem in MC?

works for me once I've allowed jrworker.exe the appropriate permissions through the firewall, so, I'd say it's either a proxy config thing or a firewall thing or maybe a bit of both....

Hmm I'm in a corporate environment so I can't really change firewall settings etc. Does MC have a proxy server settings page or something (I can't find it)?
