Visualizations?
« on: February 21, 2009, 11:06:56 am »

How do you activate visualizations in Media Centre?

I tried to follow the help file directions, but my "Now Playing" display pane only gives me the following options when right-clicked:

Display View
Detach Display
More -> (4 view modes)
Display Settings

I can't find the "Set Display" option the help file mentioned.

Thanks.

What type of audio were you playing?  And in which playback engine do you play them?

Audio must be played in "JRiver audio engine (using plugin)" or "JRiver audio engine (using DirectShow)" to have Visulazation.

Also make sure you are using the latest build.  A few builds back there was a bug that prevented Visualization from being available for audio played in "JRiver audio engine (using DirectShow)" .

I'm playing .m4a files.

In my Options->Playback->Audio the output mode is set to Direct Sound. I can't find the "J River audio engine" options you mentioned.
