Since the day I installed the MC 13.0.171 update my MC crashes as shortly after startup.  The issue appears to relate to my library, because MC does not crash if I switch to a new library file with 0 files in it.  My library has 20,000+ tracks and was working fine until installing this update.

MC crashes with a Windows error.  The error screen references in_mp3.dll.  I'm running Windows XP with all patches up to date.

Please help.  I'm locked out of my music collection.

I'm guessing there's a bad MP3 causing problems.

Please enable logging, as detailed here:
http://wiki.jrmediacenter.com/index.php/Stability

Then email a crash log to matt at jriver dot com.

After we figure out what file is causing the crash, we'll need a copy of it.  Then hopefully we'll be able to get you a fix.

In the next build of Media Center 13 and 14:
Fixed: Corrupt MP3 ID3v2 tags that had a negative frame length could cause a crash.
