cant play long wave files
« on: July 06, 2002, 10:21:24 am »

I am using mj to record some live broadcasts.  I have done some that were about three hours and they worked fine.  However, I have done two that were over five hours.  I gave up on the first one and deleted the file because I could not get it to play with any of my media players and I could not get any of my wave editors to open it.  I do not want to lose the file that i just recorded, any suggestions?  When I try to play them I get a message that there are no filters to play them back.  When I try to edit them I get a runtime 91 error.  Also, when i try to play them back, they show a length of 0 min 0 sec, even though they are about 2.5G.

I am running Win2K on a PIII w 256 Meg of ram and a 20 gig 7200 rpm hard drive.  I am using Creative Play Center  (1 and 2), windows media player 7, sound forge, pyro, and nero for my playback and editing.
