can't download plug-in anymore
« on: July 06, 2002, 02:56:19 am »

After updating to v8, every attempt to download a plug-in fails with the message (cannot connect to server).
Downloading in other programs works just fine.

Is there any option I missed?

Thanks.

Could be the browser you're using.  Try IE.

If that's not it, which plug-in?

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm using IE5.
The encoder I'm looking for is the MP3 Encoder-2.0.48.
The strange thing is that downloading MJ itself succeeds without any problem. From the plug-in manager or from MJ website, the message 'Failed to connect to a server' keeps popping up,whatever type of plug-in I try to download. Also version check doesn't work either.
Perhaps there's another method of activating the MP3 encoder for MJ?
Used to be piece of cake with v7.
