FYI - HDHomeRun now officially supports MC (http://www.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2484&highlight=river)....While I had no problems using it in MC previously, J River Media Center is now a configuration option in HDHomeRuns installer package.

So I just got my HDHomeRun today.  If I select "J River Media Center" as the Main Application in the HDHomeRun Setup, 20 of the 88 channels found cannot be enabled.  If I try to enable one of them, I get the following message "Channel cannot be enabled due to the channel limit of the selected application.  Please disable an existing channel first."  Does MC really have a 68 channel limit, or is SiliconDust smoking something?

Odd, I don't have that many channels but have never seen mention of a limit - Try using "Other" instead and see what happens (I used Other DVB for my region prior to JR support and it was fine).  If the 68 Channel Limit is Bollocks then it is worth posting on the Silicon Dust forum.

ATSC has a 68 channel limit.  Not DVB-T.

I just ditched FIOS cable and have a question about the Single HDhomerun unit.

If I have one ATSC antenna connected to it, could 4 separate PCs access the antenna and watch a different channel on each PC?

Each tuner allows a single channel to be watched by a single workstation.

So if you have several computers, you will very unlikely be able to get by with one or even just two tuners.  As more and more people go for multi-tuner setups to watch and record channels at the same time, I can't believe they just recently introduced a single tuner version.  I see no reason why this would be a consideration, even for a single computer--because then there is no record & watch another.

We have two boxes with two tuners each.  It isn't tough to see two tuners in use and that would be bad if that was being at capacity.  I could definitely see a future need for adding a third box.  But for right now, we're fine.
