Importing Media
« on: July 04, 2002, 03:58:47 pm »

My library disappeared as I was loading Media Jukebox. The MP3 are safe on my HD.

When I attempt to rebuild my library using Importing Media after 1,300 tunes were loaded things stop. I get an error message and an opportunity to tell WinXP about the problem.

I have reinstalled the latest version from this website. The problem remains.

The MP3 files are not corrupt as I used Windows Media Player to build a library and all 5,100 were indexed correctly.

Thoughts?

I don't understand but I'll try.

How do I "remove" the database? I've been through the menu and don't see anything relating to "database".

Hi Bob,

Perhaps you can try creating a new library (File > Library > Library Manager > Add).  It will be empty, so re-import your files, and see what happens.  I think that's what KingSparta meant by "database".
