I've been having some problems importing video files. When I go into file/open media file then open of the video file it will play, and it plays fine, but when I go to import it...it doesn't import into the library. I have been pulling out my hair trying to figure out why it won't...it isn't an out of the ordinary file type...just a .wmv file. 1920x1080/29fps.  Any suggestions?

Do you have "video" file type checked in your folder import settings?  Seems obvioius I know but I had that problem once.

This can cause a little confusion.

You can actually have a number of associations.

The main one (File Type) located in Tools/Options sets the blanket associations through windows. Eg double click and it will open Media Center.

But you can also set individual folder associations for your auto import folders in File/Library/Import then edit your folder/file associations.
