In my tagging/naming convention scheme I use the same album title for albums with multiple CDs plus the Disc# tag to keep everything in order. This works fine within MC, other SW and even simple MP3 players cause not problem, because the CD# and track# is also part of my naming convention for filenames of tracks. The trouble starts when I try to sync such an album to an Ipod, because the sync seams to generate new filenames and ignores the disc#. As a consequence the sequence of albumtracks will be wrong on the Ipod, or, if the tracks do have the same track name, which is quite common for in my audiobook collection, can't be uploaded to the Ipod at all.
Is there anything I'm doing wrong or is this a known limitation?
