MJ does not find ID3 info in APE files (Monkey)

When I encode files in Monkey Audio APE format and import them into MJ, the ID3 tag information is missing. I have tried encoding all the different ID3 tag versions and connot get MJ to recognize any of them. Does anyone have any ideas?

Incompatible versions?  Did you check the monkeysaudio.com site?

Monkey's Audio does not use ID3 tags.  It use it's own tagging format called APE tags, which is also supported by MJ.
