My low bitrate .mp3s 'play' with no sound
This applies to my "speech" files in both MC15 and MJ14 at 48 kpbs and lower.
I reinstalled CCCP but not sure that or any other codec has anything to do with low bitrate .mp3s. All my files are .mp3 and play in VLC player (with sound). Didn't have 'no sound' problem in earlier versions of MC and MJ. My soundcard driver is updated.
Analyzing a few files with EncSpot indicate the encoder is FhG:
