delete BEFORE sync

How do i make MC delete the files off my handheld BEFORE i sync so i do not have to remove the files that will not fit? Or does it do this automatically and im not catching it?

If you configure a sync by checking playlists in Options > Handheld, any files that aren't in the sync are removed.

All space calculations take this into account.

Matt, as you mention space calculation, when I sync lossless to lossy using external encoder, mc calculates the space using the lossless file-size, and have to run the sync many times, because there is no "ignore" button on the warning  :)
