Mass tag transfer?
« on: July 18, 2010, 05:33:00 am »

I want to transfer all tags from one set of files to another. Before I go the third party route, is there an easy way to do this within MC?

Thanks.

Thanks, that works!

As a test I used an album in mp3 and the same (new) album in flac. I selected all files, stacked by name and just synced the lyrics field which successfully transferred to the flacs. Is this the right procedure?

There doesn't appear to be an Image File field in CFP, does this mean I can't transfer covers art at the same time?

Cheers.

i guess so, remember to create backups if you are to change a lot of files, and try some more before proceeding..

image field is locked...but have you tried the "quick find in file/coverart directory" command ?

Yeah, it's no big deal, just a shame you can't do it all in the one action.
