Problem with Edir Radio Files
« on: September 12, 2010, 07:31:51 am »

Using the Player, Play Radio command I have the option to Edit Radio Files. Using the Modify Results I can limit the number of tracks played and also stop any duplicates. This modify option does not appear to function, thereby continuing to select tracks and allowing duplicates.

As an example I exported this selection [Artist]=[Annette Snell] ~n=2 ~nodup=[Name] This works fine as a smartlist but not as a modifier when editing radio files.

Post-process operators (things that start with a tilde ~) aren't supported in the radio filter.

If you're trying to play a single artist, I wouldn't recommend using 'Radio'.  You'd be better just playing that artist from the library or creating a smartlist for it if you want some rules.

And welcome to Interact!

Thanks Matt, that clarifies that for me. I will do as you suggest.
