Hide file paths
« on: October 04, 2010, 11:32:27 am »

I've just set up a custom display format in Theatre view for my Photos so it displays them in folder order.
This all works fine no problems, but it displays the complete folder path in the view (e.g. c:\windows\documents and settings\media\documents\my pictures\holiday).
Is there a way of hiding this so it just displays the folder name or is there another way I could do this

and see here ---> http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=59233.0 for an expression that returns "just the folder name"

Perfect, thanks!

Is there any documentation anywhere that explains expressions in any detail?

I get the general idea behind them, but some sort of reference would be handy.

Thanks again

This page ---> http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php?title=Media_Center_expression_language is all there is at the moment. It's a bit lacking, but there's an update coming, hopefully by the end of this week.
