General CD Burning Question
« on: April 12, 2003, 03:41:17 am »

When I play my MP3's through MJ, I have the option of playing the songs with no dead air in between each track.  I am going to buy a CD Burner in the very near future; if I use MJ's Burning feature, can I duplicate that option when I am burning the CD?

You can do this with MJ8. Diskwriter.

Creates a file with all playback settings to wav. Wav is then burnable to cd.

Last time I did it, all DSP settings were there.

K27-

You cannot get it done with mp3's. Diskwriter is a wav only deal. MPC lets you do gapless, but kills the portable factor.

Thanks for all your help everyone....I will deal with the gap.  If any of you know of any  backup programs that can allow me to backup almost 10 Gigs of Mp3's it would be great.
