Toggle closed captions (sub titles}
« on: November 14, 2010, 06:41:35 pm »

Is there a keyboard shortcut I can program into my remote to toggle on/off closed captioning?

I don't think so. Isn't there an OSD command available? Whether there is or not may depend on the file type and filter used. Unless they're hard-coded (or there's something different about captions vs. subtitles), you should always be able to turn them off in the filter properties.

Thanks, Rick, for the response.

I'm a litttle hearing impaired and find some movies difficult to follow without using captions. I looked through all the keyboard commands and could not find what I wanted. I was hoping to find a command that would allow me  to use an unsed button on my remote as a toggle on/off.

You should find it on the OSD—just by pressing the down-arrow.
