Problems burning playlists to cd
« on: June 13, 2002, 05:45:54 pm »

I downloaded MJ 8.0 three weeks ago. I have been importing music into my library and composed a couple of different playlists.  I successfully burned one copy of my first playlist. When I tried to make another copy of the same playlist I get the message: A device error occured: error number is 1026 Error data is KEY:6ASC29ASCQNext Page. I also tried to copy other playlists and my computer crashed. I have windows XP and I disabled the auto insert notification, which was a suggestion I saw on this site. I just recently purchased my computer and my knowledge of cd burning is very limited. Can someone please help me?

Hey
In MJ go to Help, System Info.
Copy and paste the info here so that the propeller heads can get a better purchase on it.
Also, a step-by-step description will help others fix you up.

If you CD burner doesn't have the "burn-proof" feature, the first thing to try is lowering the writing speed. Also, try to not run other programs during the burning process.
