Multiple Artists in Standard View, Bot Not in Theater
« on: December 21, 2010, 06:34:42 pm »

Topic pretty much sums it up.

One album I have shows a "Multiple Artists" in Standard View.
But it is correctly displayed in Theater View under the artist "El-P"

ALL artist tags are set to "El-P"

Thanks in advance.

Check the tags for all the files in the album.  Look particularly at the "Album Artist" field.  Sometimes you may have identical info in the "Artist" field, but variation in "Album Artist." You need to eliminate that variation.

Thanks,

I should have clarified the "ALL" in my post above.

Every tag that has anything to do with Artist, including Album Artist, Album Artist (auto), Album Artist (album) is set to "El-P"

And it displays correctly in Theater View.

I dont like using "Multiple Artists" in any way.  I put the actual artist for VA albums in the "track name" and leave the Artist tags as the Album Artist.

Maybe I will just delete, ensure the tags are correct, then re-import.

Thanks again.
