Suggestion: Use a smartlist to define the Gizmo library
« on: January 03, 2011, 08:35:48 am »

I'll admit it; I have a lot of music that I rarely listen to. I even have a quite a bit of music that I never listen. And I have a large catalog of Christmas music that I don't want to browse in the middle of July.  :P

In the standard MC interface, all of this extra weight isn't much of a problem. In Gizmo, however, it becomes a bit of a nuisance, both from a loading and a browsing standpoint.

I'd like to see an option to let us set the Gizmo library through a smartlist. It would be easy to configure, and could be modified quickly for different environments (party, holiday, etc).

You can configure the views (and exclude files) for Gizmo in Options > Media Network > Webplay > Customize views...

Awesome. Didn't know about the file display options in the Customize Views area.
