While attempting to import a UNC path, only a handful of files from a single random child folder were imported (there are hundreds of folders below the selected parent folder at the end of the UNC path).
There may be a better way to do this now, but I did this with an older version of Media Center (finally just upgraded) in order to utilize a shared library on a centralized "server" PC. So, when my laptop would load the library (also referenced by a UNC path), I didn't have to worry about drive letter paths to the files, as all were referenced by UNC.
Would utilizing Media Server actually be faster than this method? Why am I not able to import UNC paths?
