"Imported playlists"
« on: March 15, 2011, 09:30:39 am »

I have not been able to find why these appear, or what they are meant for. Some time ago, though, I moved the entire MC15 library from my PC to an external HD. Is that what caused these I.P.? If so (or otherwise), can I safely delete them, as their content is more or less overlapping my "ordinary" playlists?

A playlist is simply a reference to the actual files and all Playlists can be deleted. The "imported" ones are Playlists which would have been created in another media player, such as WMP or Winamp etc

Yeah, I know. I was not quite precise, though. What I meant was, if these list lived their separate lives, so to speak. So that deleting one (the imported) would leave the other unchanged. But sure - all I have to do is try, really. Thanks a lot. :)

Until you gain full confidence regarding playlists, make a copy of one ([ctrl] [c] and [ctrl] [v]) and play around with that - not just deletion.
