Please! How to disable auto un-mute
« on: March 12, 2011, 06:39:53 pm »

If my sound is muted when MC-15 loads then MC UN-mutes the PC. I need the ability to disable this "function". I pulled up MC on my laptop to look at something and it un-muted my PC during a meeting. This wasn't a nice surprise.

Here's a workaround.  Go to Options->Startup->Startup Volume.  Set the volume level to 0.  MC will now set the volume to 0 each time it starts, which is similar to mute.

Thanks for the tip! Would be even better if JR made 0 mean "don't alter current volume". There are more times than not that I DO want the volume on. This workaround is probably going to become bothersome real quick but it's a great start.
