mj8 just disappears

I just installed, and every time I run it, it just disappears after a minute or two. Whether it is playing or not!

I have Windows XP home.

Try unnistall MJ and install again MJ to try to fix something wrong

Only time I ever saw this is when my stupid friend decided to apply a crack he found on the web.  He's since re-installed and bought the program, which magically solved this mysterious problem.
