Fields not populating in v16.0.164
« on: September 05, 2011, 01:28:06 pm »

After updating recently to the latest stable release, v16.0.164, I've noticed the Date and Name fields don't get populated when a video file is added to MC. They are populated correctly for other media types.

I've tried "Update Library from tags" and that doesn't fix the problem.

Was a bug introduced in this version?

Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks for your help,
Ed

Well that didn't fix the issue after all! Today I upgraded to 16.0.173 and I still have the problem.

The Date and Name fields don't get populated when a video file is added to MC. They are populated correctly for other media types.

I've tried "Update Library from tags" and that doesn't fix the problem.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,
Ed

I'm seeing the same here. I've only tested with mkv files thus far.

What file types are you having issues with?

The files are MPEG-PS/MPEG-2 files.

I had a similar issue a couple of months ago that was addressed in this topic:http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=64569.msg432778#msg432778

If I move the files to another folder and re-import them, the problem is corrected, but the work around is a pain to say the least.
