any date for Media Server to be able to serve mpc files ?
« on: June 01, 2002, 03:23:33 am »

Somebody said that will be available with the v2 of the mpc plug-in. My daughter is asking me every day: "papa, quand est-ce que je pourrai écouter les mpc ?" (dad, when will can I listen mpc songs). And I answer every time, "be confident my love, JimH will do it for you"

More seriously, is there any date planned for that ? I am happy with MJ8 but it is a pity not to can listen my thousand of mpc songs through Media Server.

I am working on the MPC plugin. Currently, real-life duties (and GTA3) have prevented me from working on it as much as I'd like to. I'd estimate that I'm 30% completed at this stage.

I am not your project manager, 30% doesn't mean anything for me !
I just would get an idea of the release date of this feature (something as "in a few days", "in a few weeks", "in a few months",...).

Please, do not say "in a few months" or "in a few years", my daugher will kill me to have encoded so much songs in mpc format Now I am starting to use .ogg but I don't plan to rip again hundred of albums.

I've added streaming capabilities to the current version, but Media Server functionallity is still nonexistant. I believe this to be on JRiver's end. I am taking care of it.
