Author Topic: Question: Why does MC immediately go to detecting handheld after rip?  (Read 878 times)

Morning,

So - here's something that is becoming annoying (and maybe I am doing something wrong). I have MC open - and I decide to rip a few tracks from a couple of CD's. The ripping goes fine. When I am done - I click Close in the Action panel and I see my rip log displayed (which I want - it's set under Options). Then it seems I have to click Close again - and when I do that the second time - MC decides it wants to detect handhelds (of all things) and generally goes into a temporary hang mode.

It's like MC is following some recursive path of action after I click Close on the ripping process - like it's taking a trip "up the tree" to see what else it can find to do.

I would just like the app to properly close the rip panel and not look for anything else to do. I had this happen twice today and almost always on other rip sessions.
