System Info reporting incorrect data
« on: August 13, 2011, 05:49:28 am »

Hi,

In my System Info... it reports my computer as a Pentium III 3.4GHz wth 4GB RAM (see below):

Media Center 16.0.149.0 Registered -- C:\Program Files (x86)\J River\Media Center 16\

6.1 Service Pack 1 (Build 7601)
Intel Pentium III 3442 MHz MMX / Memory: Total - 4194 MB, Free - 2936 MB

I've got an i7 X980 with 6GB RAM.

What gives?

(JRMark included below if needed)

Regards,
Steve

The system info in Media Center doesn't know about some of the newer CPUs.

You might check out CPU-Z or HWMonitor if you want detailed system / hardware information.
