In haste I deleted some tracks from a CD and would now like to rip them again. However, I'm unable to find the check box 'Ignore previously deleted files' so when I load the CD, MC only shows the tracks that weren't deleted. I have searched the topic, but not found an answer. Help appreciated.

Are you saying you don't see all the .cda tracks on the CD?

The Ignore previously delete files option is in Auto-import, on a per listed-folder basis, so it is not clear to me that setting will be of use.

There is a Removed database which lists the files that have been removed from MC.  You can see these with a view or smartlist, using ~d=r (Limit database to Removed)

That's exactly what I'm saying, ie tracks not displayed.

I had found the 'Ignore previously deleted files' in Auto-import and can report that it doesn't solve my problem.

I've checked the stored music files and deleted all reference to the relevant CD, but to no avail.

Are you saying that if I access the Removed database (any clues where I might find it) and delete it, it would solve my problem?

Interesting, I just tested this and discovered the same thing.

The .cda tracks do not appear in the deleted database.

Right-click the disc in Drives & Devices, and Update from Online database.  This will restore the missing tracks from the CD.
