Bug: Paremetric EQ filters don't stay removed/disabled
« on: September 27, 2011, 08:18:01 pm »

I was just playing around with a few custom parametric eq filters for a bit before closing and re-opening jriver. After restarting jriver I was left wondering why the audio wasn't sounding right with that particular zone before I finally discovered that the custom filters I had created earlier were still in place even though I had specifically removed and ok'd the settings before I'd closed jriver earlier.

Further investigation shows that changes that are retained on exit only when adding new filters or when changing parameters of existing filters. Any filters that are removed or otherwise unselected WILL show again as selected for that particular zone on restart.

This has been reported several times in this thread. Last weekend I deleted a filter three days in a row and it kept reappearing. Finally I deleted all my filters and started over. I'm glad you were able to narrow down when changes are saved.

Good detective work.

Look for a fix in a coming build.
