Fast Forward Core Command Crashes MC
« on: November 03, 2011, 01:51:20 pm »

Keyboard FF works fine. If the command is sent via core command MC crashes every time.

Any chance of a fix?

How are you sending, and what's the exact command?

What are you playing?

Thanks.

Sorry I should have been more specific.

The commands being used are /MCC 10008 & /MCC 10003.  They are being sent via USB-UIRT and executed through Girder C:\Windows\System32\MC16.exe

I am running madVR in exclusive mode on an extended monitor. MC crashes immediately either command is sent no matter what video is being played.

Just a thought, does MC16.exe have to be updated every time the version updates?

Running MC17, I can't reproduce the problem here.

Running MC17, I can't reproduce the problem here.

Thanks for the feedback

Hmmm, I'd like to think it is pilot error but I have now managed to simulate part of the problem using the keyboard right arrow key (FF)

My problem is either the program simply crashes or the sound loses sync with the video when FF is stopped and appears to be unrecoverable. This is what I can simulate using the keyboard.

BTW I am exclusively watching HD MKV files @ 24Hz just in case that is the difference!

WMC seems to work just fine performing the very same operation.
