Seek bar problem

New user here, trying out JRiver's MC17 beta trial-before-buying.

I'll probably be posting a few times while I get everything sorted out. 
Here is one that I haven't been able to figure out on my own.

1) The seek bar is not very accurate/fine?

2) When I put my mouse over the seek bar, it does not show me the correct timestamp.  Like where my arrow is pointing at, the mouse should have told me it was somewhere about 20 minutes into the show.  But it doesn't. 


Can this be fixed?
What am I doing wrong?  I've tried two different skins and had the same problem on MC16 before reinstalling my current OS also.

The tooltip shows the current position.

You can drag the position slider and it'll show the seek time while dragging.

But I guess I can use the slider workaround.  Thanks for the suggestion.

The tooltip shows the current position, not the position you would get if you clicked there.  This is by design.

Just wondering why is it by design?? I'd probably rather have it work how CZ Eddie says.. Only because I can already see the current time stamp just above the slider.. Is there any specific reason why it is designed like this?
