cover art - copying music files
« on: January 07, 2012, 01:27:20 am »

I don't know if this is a mc problem, didn't find it on the forum yet.

my music is all stored at at NAS. When I re-locate (within MC17.0.60 with rename/move & copy files) from my pc to NAS all is ok.

When I then use import cover art from internet, he puts the cover in the map (as should be), I also store the cover inside the file. While he is storing it inside the file he makes a copy of that file (difference in sizes) and delete them immediatly again.
But some of those files he doesn't delete, so that I have double files.

ex:
05 - the honey roll.flac              size is 40.874 kB
05 - the honey roll (1).flac         size is 40.779 kB

also the (1) files keep the time changed on the time i did import them to the NAS, the normal files get the time of the importing the covers.

Anybody a clue about this?

Still having the same problem.

I think it has something to do with the NAS, because when I do it on the HD of my pc, there is no problem. But wished it wasn't happening.
