AutoImport ReImports Deleted Files

AutoImport ReImports Deleted Files

I already have "Ignore Files Previously Removed From Library"

But every time I delete files, it just reimports them back later.

This is getting frustrating.  Since this was suppose to be the only recourse from the limitations of using Server Library.

could this be a bug with auto-import when dealing with mapped network paths?

man, this just goes to validate my decision for having disabled auto-import for all these years, and confirms why i never trust auto-anything.

Do you have a reason for not wanting to move those files to a folder that is not one of your monitored folders.
Another solution would be to create a custom tag and then create a does not contain filter for given value in that tag.

yes. the reason is that some files are actually many tracks in one, separated by a separate TOC cue file. while other files are single tracks. both can have same extension. ie: ape

i need to delete the files that contain many tracks that got imported as 1 track, leaving the TOC separated ones in the library

Since that is the case I would set a filter based on duration. for example if your longest single track is 8:00 set filter to [duration] is less than 8:01.
I used to have flac files that were that way but I split everything and deleted all of the multi-track files they are still on my backup drive though.

You could place something in the comment field, say MULTI+TRACK, then configure your Audio page to not show anything with that in the comment field.

Right-click Audio>Customize View>Included Files>Set rules for file display>Add new rule>Comment does not contain MULTI+TRACK

They'll still technically be in your library, but MC won't show them to you.
