Recording From The Web

I have tried All The Options in Tools\Record Sound\options\line-in ,Mic ,cd-Audio & mixer and the auto volum ditector allways say "No sound was detected. chek that your audio devise is working and try again" but in the same time i'am listenning to aweb music which i wanted to record.
help please.

you might need a jumper on your sound board in the back, to plug into "line" and a out jack

Try this method (from "line-in recording" under "Help" on this web page):

If you are having trouble getting anything to record with any of the sources, choose the Mixer source, start your recording, then follow these steps:

- double click on the speaker icon in the system tray
- from the Volume Control menu, choose "options" and then "properties"
- in the "Adjust volume for.." section, choose "Recording"
- in the lower area where it says "Show the following volume controls:", check all the controls
- click OK and then select or un-mute one recording source at a time until the recorder starts working
