Multiple Images for Single Albums and Artists
« on: February 21, 2012, 09:14:45 am »

Hello:

I am a new user to MC17.  When I look under the Artists or Albums, I sometimes see multiple album cover images for a single album which I believe represents listings for different/multiple songs in the album.  How do I correct this so that I see only one Album cover for a single album?  Same thing under Artists.

Thanks,

Grayson

It sounds like you have one image for one track and another for a different track.

You can right click and remove the art you don't want.  You can right click and copy the one you do, then paste it to another track, or select all tracks and paste it to the album.

If you don't get a reply to a post, just "bump" it.

Thanks for your reply.

What is the best way to compare the artwork of different tracks (in the same album)?  How do I "bump" a post?

Thanks,

Grayson

Just reply to your own post with "bump" or similar.

Select each track and view the tag.  Click on the image art in the tag.

I tried taking one album picture and copying it to the other tracks.  They disappeared, then came back.

Any other suggestions?  I don't want to remove the art from each track;  however, I would like album art to appear only once per album (or per disc, if multiple discs per album).

Thanks,

Grayson
