How can I consolidate songs on MC to show inside of 1 Albulm

Hi There,

I've downloaded some high rez Best of Audio files of several artists. Instead of MC 17 seeing these as 1 albulm with multiple tracks it sees and lists each track as seperate a seperate albulm.

I would like to consolidate these all on the MC desktop to show as 1 albulm (all tracks are located in the same folder which makes this even weirder).  Hoping someone can teach me the trick on how to

consolidate these tracks so they show as 1 albulm.

Tag them with the same album name?

Am I missing something?

Actually it merges if I have both the Album name AND the Artist name the same (ie. Various Artists). Thanks your tip got me to the results!

I would recommend using the "Album Artist" tag so you can still properly view the track artist.
