(Audio) Why can't we preview Internet query changes?
« on: September 22, 2012, 12:34:59 pm »

I'm talking about when you select  "Get Track Info from Internet DB".   We are able to do this with Videos from what I can tell,  but for audio we are forced to accept the changes and then have to "undo" them..

Is this is a restriction from the YADB system or.... ?   From what I can recall of using tagging apps in the past, you usually are given a choice of which database to use, and a preview of what the information is that will be changed,  and then you can accept/reject.

It urks me when I query the Internet and I get messed up stuff happening, like  tracks on the Album that also appear on a Greatest Hits or some such, getting retagged for THAT album,  track numbers being changed / out of order/improper, etc..   Or files not being changed at all.

I know its not a perfect system, just wondering why we have to take the changes without previewing them.
