Feature Request: Load Alternate Library
« on: April 20, 2012, 12:06:24 am »

Most of my media is stored on a different computer than the one used for playback. I have JRiver default to opening that library. However, sometimes there is a (usually network) issue with that library and JRiver stops, gives me a dialog box telling me it couldn't load the library, and asks me what I want to do. I always default to using the local library. It would be great if there was an option for JRiver to remember that's what I want it to do when it can't find the library it's looking for and stop bothering me every time.

This seems like it shouldn't be too hard. Rather than make you choose between Retry, Last Library, or a specific library, add a check box "Always Do This" option and let users change it back in Options.

Thanks!!!

If it helps, you could make two shortcuts that each load a different library.

You use /Library on the shortcut:
