Improve Track Look Up Feature
« on: May 20, 2012, 06:26:04 am »

I've got an album which has the correct Album Name, correct track numbers, and correct artist filled in.
However the track names are part missing from some erronous past.

If I try to use the "Look up Track Info from database" tool then MC unfortunately corrects the already correct data.
It's a very well known album.

Could this tool better look at the data it already has?
Or could there be an alternate tool "Look up Album Info from database"?

Did you rip these from a CD?  If so, and the tracks are present in the CD database, you could use those.

I did but many years ago.  I think before MC added them to the CD Database.

I’m afraid you have to use a tool like MP3Tag as MC is very poor at tagging tracks already in the library.
For some reasons best known to him,  Jim won’t have any improvements in this field.
