PlayStation 3 (PS3) as source for SACD ripping
« on: June 04, 2012, 12:53:48 pm »

I am new with PS3. Which model of PS3 would you recommend for SACD ripping - Original or Slim ?

Are 40GB memory of PS3 enough for SACD ripping ?

Which interface of PS3 should I best use to transfer the ripped SACD to PC ? USB 2.0 or LAN (Ethernet)

The firmware of PS3 should be version 3.55 or earlier !

Thatīs a sophism. The 40 GB version is not SACD capable! Only the 20, 60 and 80 GB versions of PS3 Original are the right choice for SACD. http://ps3sacd.com/faq.html#_Toc180147566
