whats the difference between Media Server & The Web Plugin?

1) the web plugin lets you play the files on Computer #1

but how does one share files now so Computer #2 Plays them

does Media Server work between different versions? ver7 and ver8?

i can get the HTML plugin to work..but the

Media Server Private mode has me all messed up

i must go get drunk now..lol

To play files on the second machine, you need to run Media Server on the first and connect to it from the second (tools/media server/connect).

You need to run 8.0.260 or above on both machines.  Don't mix versions or builds.
