I am having a bizarre issue with MC18. Every time I start MC18 it starts OK - but also starts Asus AI suite as well. Even if I then close AI suite every time I try to do something in MC18 like play a file or open a playlist the AI suite starts up again.
I have noticed that AI suite has an icon running in the System Tray. If I close that down then starting MC 18 does not start AI suite (hooray!) but it is VERY unresponsive. Like taking a couple of seconds or more to load a file, or open a playlist.
I'm running Win 7 64 bit up to date. The AI suite is also up to date. I've tried both builds of MC18 same issue.
No issue at all like this with MC17 which has been rock solid for a very long time.
Can anybody help by explaining what might be going on and - if possible - how to stop this happening.
