Question: MC18 does not display icon ViewHeaderHandheld.
« on: October 04, 2012, 05:51:16 am »

Hello,

For me, MC18 does not display icon ViewHeaderHandheld.

It's bug? I do not remember if the MC displays by default.

Do you understand?

Regards,

Fabricio, from Brazil.

Similar issue for me, as I reported elsewhere. The "details" view of my Handheld (Sansa Clip in MTP mode) is still broken in this build: the top panel (with the Clip image and [Sync Now] [Recheck Sync] [Options] buttons) is blank. I notice that the image of the Clip that should be there is floating -- in a very small size -- over File in the menu.

Until this is fixed, I'm sticking with MC17.

After updating to 18.0.55 and seeing the same problem as I described/showed above, I decided -- given that the issue wasn't being reported widely by others -- to try a few things.

First, I chose to Remove & Ignore the Sansa Clip, then    in Options>Handheld, chose Redetect all devices. This got me to the same place as Fabricio discussed above; i.e., I had the header display back as in MC17, but the image of the Sansa Clip was missing.

Second, I manually copied the contents of C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\J River\Media Center 17\Handheld Art to:  C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\J River\Media Center 18\Handheld Art, overwriting the image for the Clip with that being used by MC17

That worked, and my Handheld view looks as it did in MC17.
