MC 17 with T Box streaming issues

Hi guys, recently tried using MC 17 with the Telstra Tbox, which i know isn't the most popular device out so there really isn't much info on other sites. I cannot get it to work with converting files on, and it doesn't play all formats so converting files is a must. I have the settings of Generic DLNA with DLNA extra on. But it just hangs at the start whenever encoding is on. Not too sure what are the best encoders available for MC 17. If anyone has tried and tested methods it would be much appreciated.
