Track Name - Burning CDs
« on: April 15, 2002, 03:15:17 am »

When I burn a CD, the names of the songs get changed to Track 1, Track 2, etc. on the newly burned CD. I changed the settings to Artist-Title (no spaces) under File Naming options, but still get the Track 1, Tract 2 labeling. Is there something else I need to do to get the names of the artist and song to get transferred correctly to the CD?

I am using MJ 7.2.280.

Thanks,
Meghyn

if your burning an Audio CD this is normal, if not CD-Players would not know how to play it.

if your burning them as Data CDs the names will be saved, but they will not play unless the device is compatable with that format.

King Sparta,

Thanks. Yes, they are audio CDs. Is the setting in preferences (where I can choose Artist-Title) only for data cds?
