SCSI, ASPI & MJ 8.0.239

Anyone else experiencing not being able to rip from a SCSI CDROM? I've tried everything. MJ can see the drive, it can read the files off of the drive, connects to CDDB to find the disc info, but when i hit rip, drive initialisation does not occur at all. The little green light on my drive does not light up at all which means the program is not even sending a command to start spinning up and reading the disc contents. Any suggesstions guys? This worked under MJ 7. I have a dual IGHz PIII running under windows 2000.

Brana,
Just on the off chance that it may be an issue with the settings, go to settings, options, devices, and look at your cd rom and see whether it's set at aspi, ide, or auto config. Try either aspi or auto config and see if that helps.
