MC18 and Windows 8 streaming
« on: August 25, 2013, 05:32:07 am »

All,
New here and having a bit of an issue or completely missing something!
Ive set up my Xonar Essence one using ASIO output. The WAV files all in MC18 using DSP studio sound brilliant. Bit Perfect LED on Xonar so i know its set up right with MC18. Very impressed so far!

However when i go to stream music via connected media from an online source (Google play, Radio etc. even the streams listed in MC18) the audio is still played via the above set up but DSP Studio has no influence or control. I thought it would be a case of pointing to the online stream and MC18 would allow the stream to be routed via MC18 incl. DSP Studio etc. However the Audio sounds exactly the same as if you'd just played it direct without MC18 (Which is probably whats happening). I've tried going into file settings and 'Live'  and WASAPI loop-back and then MC18 DOES have control but the sound output is terrible - Being an amateur here ive clear not set it up right!

any help appreciated!
