Volume levels
« on: March 08, 2003, 05:01:15 am »

Hi All:

I hope you can help me with this one....

When downloading to my MP3 player (Nomad IIc), the volume levels can be all over the place.

Is there a feature to "normalize" the volume?  The bitrates are all 128.

Thanks a lot,
Dave

If the files are already encoded as mp3's and you don't care to do it again, then use MP3Gain (do a search for it on the net). Note that it will permanently alter (normalize) the data in the file.
