Can MC control what is being played on a DNLA player?
« on: March 23, 2013, 01:28:53 pm »

My Oppo BDP-95 can play music from MC (when configured for DLNA). In this mode, the Oppo is 'pulling' the music from the DLNA server.

However, it is not obvious to me (on what is my first day of experimenting with the trial version of MC 18) whether it is possible for MC to control what is played on the Oppo, i.e. can MC 'push' music files to a DLNA player?

Try seaching Oppo in the Media Network board.  There have been many Oppo threads over the past year.  Here's one:

Thanks for the link, which confirmed my feeling that it was not possible to 'push' music to the Oppo BDP-95, as it is not a DLNA renderer.
